About us
Founded by Brogan and Yaya, Good Bones came to staging through real estate, not the other way around.
After seven years as a Realtor and more than a decade spent buying, selling, renovating, flipping, and living through home projects of our own, we have seen firsthand that getting a home ready to sell is about far more than making it look pretty.
Every property has a different buyer, market, neighborhood, timeline, and seller behind it. That’s why we don’t stage from a formula. We work closely with sellers and their agents to understand what they need, what the home needs, and what the market is responding to.. then make thoughtful decisions about where design can have the greatest impact.
We also believe staging should work with real life, not require sellers to erase it. Homes can be lived in and still show beautifully. Whether a seller is juggling kids, pets, a half-packed house, rooms they never quite finished, or furniture they genuinely love, we start with what is there. We edit, rearrange, layer in what is missing, and create a version of the home that feels elevated without feeling unrecognizable.
After eight years in real estate, countless home projects and renovations, and years of staging our own listings, staging became less of an add-on and more of an essential part of how we believed a home should be brought to market. We started helping other agents and sellers do the same, and Good Bones Staging & Interiors was born.
Because our background lives at the intersection of design and real estate, we think about more than how a room looks. We think about the listing photos, the first impression, the way buyers move through a home, the timeline agents are working against, and the small decisions that help a property's best features stand out.
Our style is warm and intentional. We don't want every house to look the same. We want it to feel like the best version of itself.. thoughtfully edited, beautifully photographed, and ready for someone new to imagine living there
